KinetiqMuscle activation console

Strength is a performance metric.

Kinetiq is a mobile muscle activation console with two independently positioned applicators, delivering focused electromagnetic muscle activation. Fully clothed, protocol driven, and built around how a training space actually runs.

The Case

The most discussed variable in longevity. The least served by studio equipment.

Skeletal muscle is not a cosmetic tissue. It is the system that carries strength, stability and metabolic capacity through adult life.

It also declines quietly. Mass and recruitment quality fall gradually from around the fourth decade, and the loss is rarely noticed until it shows up as something else: a change in posture, in balance, in how quickly someone recovers.

Strength coaches talk about this constantly. Studio equipment mostly does not, because the category was built around fat and skin rather than muscle. That gap is precisely where Kinetiq sits, and it is why a studio carrying it is having a different conversation from one selling a body session.

How It Works

Activation the client could not produce voluntarily.

A voluntary contraction recruits a portion of a muscle. Focused electromagnetic stimulation drives activation directly, without the client needing to generate the effort themselves and without loading the joints the way resistance training does.

Position the applicators

Two applicators are placed over the target area and held in position. They are mounted on the console and positioned independently.

Set the protocol

The operator selects the protocol and working level on the console. Session state stays visible on screen throughout.

Run the session

The client remains clothed and still. Nothing breaks the skin.

Repeat as a course

Like any training stimulus, this is built around a planned series with review points, not a single visit.

Applications

Where studios position it.

Suitability for any individual is determined by a qualified operator following assessment.

Muscle tone and definition

The core positioning for most studios: supporting muscle tone in a targeted area as part of a planned course.

Strength and performance programmes

For practices building a longevity or performance offer where muscle is measured and tracked rather than judged on looks.

Alongside training and nutrition

As one input in a broader programme rather than a replacement for physical activity or qualified advice.

Clients who will not train

For clients who are unlikely to start or sustain a resistance programme, offered honestly as support and not as an equivalent.

Body programme anchor

A protocol-driven anchor service that gives a body menu a structure and a reason for clients to return.

Maintenance phases

For clients who have completed an initial course and move onto a lower-frequency maintenance rhythm.

Important. Kinetiq is wellness and fitness equipment for muscle activation and conditioning. It supports a balanced training programme rather than replacing one, and Xermal makes no promise about outcomes, measurements or timelines. Checking suitability is the responsibility of the facility.

Questions

Kinetiq questions.

Kinetiq is a mobile muscle activation console that Xermal supplies to studios, gyms and wellness facilities. It works through two independently positioned applicators while the client stays clothed, and it is run as a course-based conditioning service alongside training, not in place of it. It is studio equipment, unrelated to the software, apps and digital token that share the name.

No, and we would rather a studio did not sell it that way. Resistance training also loads bone, tendon and the cardiovascular system, which a session console does not. Kinetiq is best positioned as targeted support inside a broader programme.

Two independently positioned applicators let the operator work a paired or bilateral area in one session rather than running two sequential sessions. Practically, it is a workflow and room-time decision as much as a technical one.

The operator sets the working level for each client and adjusts it to their tolerance during the session, which is why the parameter stays adjustable rather than fixed. The client stays clothed and still throughout.

The full safe-use list, including who should not use the console, travels with the product documentation. Checking every client against it before a first session is the facility’s responsibility, and it is not optional.

Kinetiq is run as a course, with maintenance phases afterwards. The number and spacing of sessions follow the product documentation and each client’s assessment, not a marketing promise.

The console is castor mounted, so yes, within reason. Whether that is a good idea depends on your utilisation. We usually model that with you rather than guess.

In The Room

Muscle work belongs next to the couch, not in a separate wing.

Kinetiq is castor mounted with a compact footprint, so one console can serve more than one training space.
